Do you have any question about our buffet catering?

How does it work your buffet?

After booking with us, on the day of the event we’ll need 2–3 hours before service to set up the buffet table.

We then keep the table fully stocked, refilling throughout so everyone is well taken care of. Once the main service is finished, we clear the buffet and prepare the dessert.

After everyone has finished, we clear everything away, pack any leftovers for you to enjoy later, leave the space tidy, and head off.

Send us an email at enjoy@planetgfood.com with the number of guests, location, date, and your idea for the buffet. Once everything is confirmed, we’ll ask for a 10% deposit of the final invoice to secure your date, and we’ll get you booked in.

We handle the buffet table setup for you. If you’d like us to take care of guest table setup as well, we can include that as part of the service.

Usually, yes. We’ll need access to ovens and kitchen equipment, but as long as there’s a suitable space, we can arrange rental equipment and make the magic happen.

Yes. We opened the business with a mission: to change people’s minds about plant-based food. I think we changed some minds, or at least the reviews are very good. A vegan catering is the easiest way to reach non-vegans and show them how good vegan food can be.

No. We cook wholesome food and avoid using vegan ultraprocessed substitutes. We are not fans of them, so in the end, we cook with the same quality we use when cooking for ourselves.
Our meals are always balanced, and the protein we use is wholesome, such as tofu, tempeh, bean curd, legumes, etc.

Most of our food contains protein. Sometimes you won’t see it written to avoid putting off non-vegans; however, we use tofu as a blend in many of our creams, and we combine many natural protein sources, such as pulses or soya, as toppings or blend them in the dish so you might not notice them.

Our chefs create amazing flavours without using fake meats, and always try to use locally sourced ingredients. I say it again, we cook in the same way we cook for ourselves.

We do offer GF options, and we are very careful when we prepare them. They are prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, so there is always a small risk of cross-contamination. 

Yes, we do. We love vegan weddings; it’s one of the best celebrations to impress people with vegan food. We also offer buffets, family style, 3-course menu, so tell us your vision. 

We like to innovate so we have developed many recipes and we can adapt to any occasion, from fancy canapés to hearty buffets, we tailor everything to your event’s vibe.

Our catering is based in Edinburgh, and we proudly cater events across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Glasgow, Stirling and beyond.
